Pilot Projects / Funding Opportunities
Sol Goldman Pancreatic Cancer Research Center 2014
Deadline: 9/5/2014 5:00 PM - 43 Day(s) Left
The Sol Goldman Pancreatic Cancer Research Center at Johns Hopkins is pleased to announce that funding is available for a limited number of novel developmental research programs (pilot projects) in the study of adenocarcinoma of the pancreas. This program funds important new pilot projects with promising translational potential that do not have sufficient data for an independently funded NIH grant. Projects of high priority should focus on new research directions, explore innovative ideas, test unconventional, but potentially important, new hypotheses, or ascertain the feasibility of new research approaches. Applications are due Friday, September 5, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.
Faculty Pilot Grants in Global Health Research
Deadline: 10/20/2014 (Prior to Midnight) - 88 Day(s) Left
The Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health provides pilot grants to faculty at Johns Hopkins to enable and support global health research projects. The prime purpose of these awards is to strengthen the individual’s ability to secure subsequent funding from current sources. We plan to award up to nine $50,000 grants per year, depending upon the number of fundable applications and availability of funds.
